Paris Hilton surprised her fans on Thanksgiving Day by announcing that she gave birth to a baby girl named London.

The 42-year-old star shared the happy news by posting a pink baby outfit with the name ‘London’ – revealing the gender and name of her little one. “Thank you for my baby girl,” the heiress wrote in the caption of the image.

After initially confusing fans by not saying whether the baby was on the way or had already been born, Paris clarified in a TikTok comment that her daughter had already arrived, writing: “My princess has arrived!!”

This is her second child with husband Carter Rheaum, 42. In January, the couple gave birth to a son, Phoenix, via a surrogate mother.

After announcing the news on Instagram, Paris took to her TikTok with a cute clip of her nephew and niece, in which she asked: “Are you guys excited about your new cousin?”

“Do you have two children?” they asked.

“I have two children,” she confirmed. The video shows her holding her son.

“Priceless moments Family is everything,” she captioned the clip.

While the news of the birth of her second child came as a surprise, the name itself does not.

Hilton revealed on a live chat episode of her podcast on March 1 that she would have chosen the name London if she ever had a daughter more than 10 years ago.

“I am very happy that one day Phoenix will have a little sister named London. It’s my favorite city and I’ve always wanted to name my daughter London,” she said.

“I’ve actually been choosing this name for a long time, probably over 10 years. I always wanted London. I love this name for my daughter,” she added.

The heiress, named after the French capital, clearly wanted to keep the tradition of naming the city with her children, admitting that it was not easy to come up with Phoenix.

“It was hard to choose (Phoenix) because a lot of cities that I like just wouldn’t sound good as a name,” she said.

“Just like a baby name Ibiza would be awesome, Vegas would be awesome. It’s hard to find a cool name, this is the city for a boy. Apart from London, (because) it works for both,” she said.

An episode of her reality show Paris in Love revealed that Paris and Carter told literally no one about Phoenix, not even their own families.

Paris told Glamor magazine: “We’ve done it seven times…I’m having all boys. I have 20 boys. I had the procedure again a month ago, so I’m waiting for the results to find out if there are any girls.’

She also admitted that she used to freeze her eggs on the recommendation of her friend Kim Kardashian and planned to have a baby before meeting Carter.
