ARLINGTON, Texas – The Dallas Wings are a winner tonight when they take on the Connecticut Sun in Game 3 of the WNBA playoffs.

Can they win the streak to advance to the semifinals for the first time in franchise history? If they can keep up the energy and effort from the first half, it suggests they have a great chance.

The Wings and the Suns tie at the half 34-34.

In the first quarter of the game, the two teams fought back and forth. Wings point guard Veronica Burton led the way with eight points.

Marina Mabry was also behind the money.

The Wings led 19-15 at the end of the quarter.

But Wings forward Isabelle Harrison was taken to the locker room with a shin injury.

Dallas led for most of the 2nd quarter thanks to impressive ball movement and skill from Mabra, Burton and Satu Sabali.

The team’s leading scorer, guard Arike Ogunbowale, was cleared to play from the bench with a minutes restriction. She did not play in the first half.
