This heat in early summer will not stop any time soon.

We end the week with the same pattern from the morning clouds to the daytime sun.

At a degree or two, Friday’s sunrise temperature could be one of the coolest of the week with temperatures ranging from the mid to above the 60s. This is due to the slightly drier air in place.

About 14-15 hours, in the hottest time, there will be enough humidity to keep the temperature above 96-103 degrees.

The high-level high pressure responsible for this heat wave has eased some, but soon it will be another high-pressure battery, raising temperatures early next week to three-digit numbers in some areas of Central Texas.

Make sure you, your family and your pets drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Plan to limit strenuous outdoor activity in the morning and evening when temperatures are lower.
