Police are still looking for the potential rapist and have released video and surveillance footage of the man they are looking for.

They describe him as being in his 30s and around 5ft 8, with a dark complexion, black dreadlocks, a thin mustache and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a rose on the front, a black t-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers.

The NYPD, which released the video, is currently searching for the attacker and asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.

Crime in the Big Apple as a whole is up a shocking 39 percent, according to the latest data from the New York City Police Department released on July 27.

According to statistics, compared to last year, the number of rapes increased by about 11 percent.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has promised New Yorkers time and time again that he will fight crime, and even campaigned on it.

“We’re going to turn this crime thing around, and when we do, people will really see the progress we’ve made in other parts of the city,” he said earlier this month.

He also blamed the city’s criminal justice system for the rise in violence.

“It’s unfortunate that the climate we operate in … where the entire criminal justice apparatus has turned their backs on the public and the rights of citizens to live in safety in their city,” he said. “We took almost 3,800 guns off the streets, and many of the people who had those guns were able to get back on the streets.”

The Supreme Court also struck down New York’s gun laws last month, striking down a 108-year-old law that required New Yorkers to have “good cause” to carry a concealed weapon.

The 6-3 ruling overturned a lower court’s opinion that upheld a law limiting concealed carry licenses in public to those who show “good cause.”

Justice Clarence Thomas delivered the majority opinion, writing that New York’s law prevents law-abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights.
