Taylor Swift opened up about her “nightmare” audition for “Les Miserables” in an interview published Friday by The Graham Norton Show.
The “Anti-Hero” singer opened up about her experience meeting actor Eddie Redmayne a decade ago while filming the 2012 adaptation of the Broadway classic.
The Good Nurse actor was also a featured guest on The Graham Norton Show when the two reflected on the moment together.
“Basically, I applied for two roles,” Swift said.

“I looked like Cosette and had the vocal range of Eponine, so it was established that I was there well, but not for long. I wasn’t going to get this role.”
The “Lavendar Haze” singer went on to say that she was asked to come to London to do one last screen test with Redmayne, and she agreed, as Swift admitted she’s a huge fan of his.
However, she was quickly overwhelmed by the experience.
“When I got there, they put me in a full 19th-century street urchin costume and said they were going to paint my teeth brown, and I said, ‘You’re going to do that after I meet Eddie Redmayne, right? » ‘” she laughed.
Swift’s “Unfortunate” makeup also included “big circles” under her eyes to give her a “deathly” look.
