The temperature is almost average and the probability of rain returns to the forecast
There is no denying that May was a bright month. π₯΅ In May, San Antonio had the earliest days with three-digit numbers.
Moreover, from 1 to 20 May the high temperature was above average every day.
Fortunately, the expected change of weather is not far off. We will start to feel the effects this weekend! Here’s what you need to know:
SATURDAY
-
Almost record heat continues for another day as high temperatures again approach 100 Β°.
-
Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening, especially north of San Antonio.
SATURDAY EVENING
-
Intermittent rains and storms are expected to pass through the San Antonio area late Saturday night and early Sunday hours.
-
Several storms can cause gusty winds and hail – along with points of heavy rain.
-
Meanwhile, the Cold Front will sink south through South Central Texas.
SUNDAY
-
On Sunday, thanks to the cold front, it is noticeably colder.
-
High temperatures are expected by the 80s!
-
On Sunday at the beginning of the day short-term rains are possible.
-
The afternoon will be cloudy with wind.
NEXT WEEK: MONDAY – WEDNESDAY
-
Unstable weather will persist early next week to keep the rain likely for a few more days.
-
Although it is still too early to determine when it will rain every day, from Monday to Wednesday you can expect periods of showers and thunderstorms. β
-
Early estimates of rainfall suggest that some areas of South Central Texas by the middle of next week could receive more than 2 inches of much-needed rain.
