The victim was identified by Dallas Police as Diane Thomas.
Officers responded to the shooting at Main Street Garden Park around 11:10 p.m. Apparently, it happened closer to the intersection of Main Street and St. Paul Street.
When they got there, Thomas was lying in the park with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers performed CPR and medics transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
According to the investigation, police say Thomas was arguing with two men before he was shot.
