LOS ANGELES “Ozzy Osborne’s daughter Amy and her producer escaped a fire in a Hollywood recording studio that killed another person,” said her mother.
The fire broke out late Thursday afternoon in a two-story commercial building, and 78 firefighters took more than 50 minutes to put out the blaze, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Eric Scott said in a statement.
Two people reported respiratory symptoms related to smoke exposure and were examined at the scene, but both refused to be taken to hospital, Scott said.
“Unfortunately, one person was found dead inside when firefighters searched the structure,” Scott said, adding that none of the firefighters were injured and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
One of the two survivors was the eldest daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osborne, Sharon Osborne said in a post on Instagram.
Amy Osborne, 38, and the producer she worked with were “two lucky people who came out alive,” said Sharon Osborne, without naming the producer.
“It is very sad that someone lost their life in this fire today, and we are sending our prayers to this person and his family,” Osborne said, adding that “our prayers are addressed to the family and friends of the person who lost his life.” to this senseless fire ”.
Amy Osborne is a singer who produces music called ARO, her initials. She did not participate in the reality show of the Osborne family.
