The city of San Antonio also has several free venues. They work daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Employees of parks and recreation areas are also recruiting for the summer season employees involved in water sports.

“Although we are experiencing a shortage of lifeguards across the industry, as in other municipalities across the state and country, our team is working hard to provide the community with fun swimming and recreation opportunities this summer,” said the park and water recreation manager. Shani Allen.

For new staff and returning employees, there is an incentive to hire $ 700.

“We are also actively recruiting staff at schools and events, which we failed to do last year. Thanks to these efforts, we can expand the pre-season pools to offer more opportunities for swimming in more areas than in previous years, ”Allen said.
