According to presidential campaign adviser Dick Morris on Newsmax, Democrats have the “insolence” to believe that Americans should put up with President Joe Biden’s verbal and cognitive struggles or vote for stroke survivor John Fetterman for the Pennsylvania state senate.

“I think the audacity of the Democrats to say they want us to vote Fetterman out to give them control of the Senate, even though they see that this guy is completely unfit to serve as a senator right now, is incredible,” — said Morris. Saturday report”.

“It only fits the arrogance of Democrats who say we have to put up with Joe Biden as president despite his obvious weaknesses.”

Morris was responding to this week’s debate, in which Fetterman — former President Donald Trump’s Democratic opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz — struggled to answer simple questions and still showed cognitive impairment after suffering a stroke in the spring.

“I think if this debate had happened in September, I don’t think Fetterman would have been a strong competitor to Oz,” Morris told host Rita Cosby, noting that “it’s just what it was at the end” when Fetterman finally deigned to show his cognitive incapacity in the debate.

Biden’s struggle is even more problematic for American leadership because he hasn’t had the bright lights and pressure of a debate to explain his failings.

“They are very much alike: neither can utter an English sentence, in fact; Fetterman had it in the debate – Biden didn’t have it in the debate,” Morris continued. “Unless he has a teleprompter to rely on, he really can’t talk.”

While it’s potentially unfair that Fetterman won early voting in Pennsylvania before his true struggles were revealed, Morris emphasized that Republicans can’t act against early voting. Republicans should vote early.

“We can’t let the experience of 2020 stop us from voting early,” Morris said, noting that 2020-weary Republicans are “concerned that their votes will be stolen,” but added, “I think the refusal voting is a hell of a thing. a way to protect yourself.”

“We can’t go into Election Day with the Democrats 15 million votes ahead.”

Morris noted that there is some progress in early voting data, indicating that more Republicans are voting, but that early voting is still dominated by Democrats by about 13 points.

“We’ll catch up on Election Day, but it’s a heck of a margin, and it makes a big difference,” Morris said. “As I point out in my book, The Return, the Democrats have this whole structure to remind you, to pester you, to basically hang out at your doorstep until you vote, and you can do that with early voting.

“But when you vote on Election Day, no matter how good your intentions are, if the kids get sick, you get the flu, or things pile up at work, you don’t vote, and there’s no reserve for that. You can’t go until the next day because there is no next day, so I think the Republicans are really playing dangerously with delaying early voting.

“There was little progress. When I started sounding the alarm last week, I think on your show, Democrats were at 50% early voting and Republicans at 30%. Now the percentage of Democrats is down to about 47%, and Republicans are down to about 34%.

“So it’s a little bit of progress, but there needs to be a lot more. You can’t wait until election day. You should get out there and vote now. God knows what will happen on election day?

“Can you predict your future in a week and a half? I can’t.”
