The wine industry brings in more than $ 1.8 billion to the Texas economy
SAN ANTONIA – Texas Hill Country is one of the most popular wine regions in the United States
Texas grapes attract visitors from all over the country, and according to Yahoo, Lone Star State is the tenth most visited wine region in the world.
According to the Texas Department of Agriculture, the wine industry brings in more than $ 1.8 billion to the Texas economy each year.
“More than 1.5 million tourists come to our distilleries every year,” said Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller. “Texas wineries are a special part of Lone Star, and they are the perfect combination of agriculture and tourism.”
