NEW YORK – The boss is leaving again, and with him the band.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band announced Monday that they will begin a tour of the arena in February across the United States, followed by a stadium show in Europe in April.
Several details have been announced about the cities the rockers will visit, but this will be the first time the band has toured since completing The River Tour in Australia in February 2017.
“After six years, I look forward to meeting our wonderful and loyal fans next year,” Springsteen said in a statement.
European concerts will start on April 28 in Barcelona. Other stops in Europe will include Dublin, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Several tours of Britain are planned as part of the tour, but the exact cities have not been announced.
No details on which US cities the tour will go to have been reported, but dates in North America will be split into two segments. The second stage of this tour will begin in August.
