an apple announced on Wednesday that its annual developer conference, WWDC, will begin on June 5 and run through June 9.

On the first day of the conference, Apple holds a presentation led by CEO Tim Cook and usually unveils new software for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac.

WWDC is Apple’s biggest conference of the year. The company invites software developers to visit its headquarters and hold workshops and sessions on using Apple’s software tools to create new applications.

WWDC also provides a preview of where Apple is headed. The company usually discusses its software development goals and reveals new iPhone features.

More often than not, Apple doesn’t announce new hardware at WWDC. However, this year, Apple may show its long-awaited virtual and augmented reality headset at the conference, according to Bloomberg. In addition, this June, Apple could announce powerful new Mac computers to a friendly audience of developers.

WWDC will be streamed virtually on Apple’s website for free.

The conference will be held online with an in-person meeting at Apple’s headquarters, Apple Park, on the first day of the conference. Last year, Apple invited developers and the media to watch a pre-recorded unveiling presentation at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, called Apple Park.
