Arlington, TX (CBSDFW.COM) – A man died after the rapid response service in Arlington pulled out at least four people from several vehicles stuck in high water due to the June 3, 2022 floods.

According to the Dallas County Forensic Examiner’s Office, the victim was 22-year-old Saniel Antonio Singh. A forensic examination has not yet named the official cause of death.

Arlington police said emergency services responded to the area around Mansfield Web Road and Balweg Road after a woman called 911 and said her SUV had gone into a ditch with high water.

A rescue team from the Arlington Fire Department arrived at the scene and began pulling at least three people out of the high water. Police officers also went to the scene to help firefighters.

Shortly afterwards, the Arlington Fire Department also with the help of police responded to reports of a man trapped in a flooded car on Web Ferrell Road and Hanrahan Avenue.

Firefighters pulled the driver out of the car and took him to a local hospital, but later pronounced him dead.

CBS 11 asked the Arlington Fire Department for comment.
