A 15-year-old Texas girl was rescued by police 10 days after she was abducted during a basketball game in the bathroom and then sold to pedophiles.

The father of the unknown teenager raised the alarm shortly after she went to the bathroom and did not return to her seat at the Dallas Maverick game at the American Airline Center on April 8.

The girl’s family said they had asked Dallas police to investigate, but the department was unable to do so due to Texas Family Code laws.

They treat missing teenagers as escapes if there is no evidence of abduction. It is unclear whether police have made efforts to track footage from the girl’s abduction surveillance camera, details of which have not yet been reported.

Oklahoma City police tracked down the victim just at the Extended Stay America hotel after a nonprofit anti-trafficking organization found her nude photos on a prostitution site.

“My heart is breaking because my daughter had to go through 11 days when she was taken, and I am so glad she is safe because we are working on her recovery,” the girl’s mother said in a statement.

Eight people have been arrested in connection with this crime, Fox News reports.

They were identified as Sania Alexander, Melissa Wheeler, Shevan Gibson, Kenneth Nelson, Sarah Hayes, Karen Gonzalez, Talia Gibson and Stephen Hill.

After the girl did not return to her place, the girl’s father immediately informed the stadium and security.

On the day of her abduction, she was seen leaving the arena with the men. It is unclear why Dallas police have not found a probable cause of the abduction. DailyMail.com contacted the department for comment.

Authorities ordered the father to return home. Despite daily calls for an investigation, the family’s lawyer said Dallas police are refusing to make any effort to find the girl.

“My daughter disappeared in the city of Dallas, it’s a case in Dallas, but they refused to open a case against her,” said the father, according to the local news station KFOR.

Six days after the abduction, the family turned to the Texas Anti-Trafficking Initiative, a nonprofit that tracked nude photos of the girl on a prostitution website and reported it to Oklahoma police.

According to the affidavit received by the KFOR, the pictures were taken by Karen Gonzalez. She was accused of human trafficking and distributing porn.

The victim was found at the Extended American Hotel in Oklahoma City – 200 miles from where she was abducted.

Police raided a hotel and found a girl and sex offender Kenneth Nelson in a room that was rented with someone else’s ID.

“A number of these people played a role in selling this girl for sex, whether she was photographing it as one of them or just advertising it as the other was doing it,” said Gary, a spokesman for the Oklahoma City Police Department. Knight.

“There were several people connected not only with this girl, but also with others,” he said. “But we did our best to find this girl.”

The heartbroken family of the girl blamed Dallas police, the American Airline Center and the American Extended Stay Hotel for not actively working to prevent such a traumatic experience.

Zick Fortenberry, the family’s lawyer, said in a statement: “The life of this victim will change forever. We hope to bring the perpetrators to justice and create change in these organizations so that this never happens to any other child.

“The systems and organizations involved in this case were constantly letting the victim down. She never had to contact a man at a Mavericks game.

“Dallas police had to work quickly to investigate the allegations and find the teen before she was transported to Oklahoma.

“The Extended Stay America Hotel in Oklahoma City has put profits ahead of people by turning a blind eye to the sexual exploitation that is happening right in front of their eyes.”
